Life & Times

Born August 30, 1948, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Attended Pine Forest High School, NC State University. Degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Worked for Pratt & Whitney in West Palm Beach in 1970. Employed as a Golf Course Superintendent from 1971 through 1997 (CGCS) at Gates Four Golf & CC, Fayetteville, NC; Mid Pines Country Club, Southern Pines; and The Bayonet in Raeford, NC. Did Commercial Real Estate Appriasal from 1997 through 2007 (MAI) with Tom Keith & Associates, Fayetteville, NC.

I am enjoying golf, volunteering, and photography. Photography is a rewarding retirement interest and provides a chance to continue learning new things and to go to new places . I continue to improve with time and experience.

Married Jennifer McKoy in 1969. One daugher, Amy Elizabeth German, now deceased. We are retired and living at Woodlake Country Club in Vass, NC near Pinehurst, NC with two black cats who rule our lives.
